Prayer clears the mist and brings back peace to the soul. ~Rumi
As a student in a two year Shamanic Program, I was taught the Despacho Ceremony. Although I no longer use traditional ingredients or recipes, I continue to be connected to the beauty of doing Blessing-Prayer Offering Ceremonies through spirit's guidance, intention and using organic, fresh ingredients.
I've experience deep connection with the Divine within—bringing harmony and balance to the earth, and honoring new beginnings. It is a ceremony of right action, right love, and right thinking. The ceremony shared with friends brings us into alignment through our personal intent, our group intention, and our gratitude for Mother Earth and all spirits of nature. Our energies of heart, spirit, and wisdom strengthens the connection to all life, as One. It is our intent and focus that create shifts in the energy of the universe through the power of collective prayer as an offering.
Prayer brings healing—illuminating the heart. Personal prayer flags filled with silent prayers brings one in alignment with the Divine within—illuminating all life—Divine Oneness. Creating personal prayer flags using sacred prayers, images, symbols, mantras, and poetry not only holds the pure vibrational energy flow of one's Divine Source within, but holds similar loving, energy of the traditional ancient Buddhist prayer flags—intention is intention.

Music in the soul can be heard by the universe.
Through intention, one can create rituals and ceremonies using the Himalayan Singing Bowls. A singing bowl's sound is a carrier of energies. Creating one's mantra of what they want to send out on the sound waves of the singing bowls, allows one to experience the vibration of the mantra within.
Everyone has a vibration that is a signature of their health and well-being. ~S. Shrestha
If you want the truth,
I’ll tell you the truth,
Listen to the secret sound,
The real sound,
Which is inside you…..
The music from the strings no one touches.
Let go of the past,
Let go of the future,
and let go what is in between,
transcending the things of time.
In the act of coming to the fire, fire ceremonies can be done to release the old and invite in the new. A fire of purification can be done where you just release—gift what does not serve you to your above and highest good. You can bring to the fire aspects of spirit or character that you would like to invite into, or more powerfully express in your life, and aspects that you would like to have healed. As we heal, we are offering our highest vibration to Mother Earth and to others. After a fire ceremony, there is a window of time that you can translate your intent for healing into this reality bringing it into the literal world.
When I'm unable to build an outdoor fire, I use a fire bowl to do a fire ceremony. My friend makes the beautiful Raku fired bowls.
“The labyrinth is an archetype with which we can have direct experience in the outer world. We can literally walk it. The labyrinth is the the archetype of transformation.” (Walking a Sacred Path, Dr. Lauren Artress)
The five inside pathways and the center of the Chartres Labyrinth (five circuit) is painted on my studio floor. I was taught that we can do all of our work—to release, to empty, to quiet, to shed what is not to our above and highest good outside of the labyrinth and then enter and walk only the five (circuit) inside pathways into the center, a place for meditation and prayer, to experience transformation. The labyrinth in my studio is just as powerful to walk and to experience transformation as is the Chartres Labyrinth at Grace Cathedral.
Sacred Art Ceremony
Soul receives from soul that knowledge, therefore not by book nor from tongue.
If knowledge of mysteries come after emptiness of mind, that is illumination of heart.
I've been using a process of drawing with my eyes closed to create sacred art.
“The sacred art of the mandala reflects the soul or luminous consciousness, the essence of who we really are. . . . Contemplating and creating mandalas . . . can help heal our sense of spiritual and psychic fragmentation, manifest creative energy and optimism, and reconnect us to our essential Being.” (Mandala — J. Cornell)
•Soul Collage™- Soul Cards
Some of the images you choose will show parts—parts like your ‘nurturer,’ . . . or your ’scared inner child.’ Other images will be more mysterious and mythic. These images will represent the archetypes who may seem larger than life, mysterious, and mythic. These images represent the archetypes that have chosen you, and who are guiding you. These are the Great Ones who weave your local story into the Larger Story of all Creation. Such archetypes might include the ‘Creator’ . . . or ‘The Great Mother. . . .’ As you work with your Soul Collage cards, the various ways in which your personal life story is woven into the Larger, Divine Story become clearer. Patterns unique to you emerge. The Many that makes up this being who is ‘You’ may begin to be recognized also as part of the ‘One’ or the Source. . . .” (SoulCollage™, Seena Frost)
